That's brilliant Your great fun, great sense of humour.

That was good.

Think you'd do a lot better then you think.

If its one member in particular (or more than one for that matter) that's peeing you off there's always the ignore option on your user control panel. Anybody you put in your ignore list anything they post will not show. I used it once, member in question was either a gold star buffoon or a troll and was subsequently shown the door.

Is there ignore a option on here, I never knew that at all, many forums I'm on don't have this option.

Learned something new here, didn't have a clue.

This could be issuer too solve Trevor's problems, hopefully he'll chose too stay and this option is a option too consider.

Go to your user cp, about halfway down you'll see "edit ignore list".

Trevor I respect your feelings, but do you not think that life is too short these days..... to get upset about people on the forum chest beating each other up with those bad words. After all they are only words and can’t hurt you, but I am truly sorry to hear you have been affected. Can you not take a step back from the threads whenever you see the disruptive commentary going on. Eventually they are closed or burn up into the archives.

In the club website feedback thread, another member reported harassment and victimisation in certain areas. The topic is in discussion. All we can do in this instance, is to appeal and to ask the antagonists to desist, as it does the membership no good. Everyone wants the forum to be a happy place to visit and on the whole it is. I sincerely hope you will stick around.

I’ve had a few negative posts myself but I just treat them like water off a ducks back.
I’ve just renewed for another year as I look into the forum almost on a daily basis.

If everyone took that stance to leave this excellent club it would start to fold and then where would we be, we are all mature and sensible enough to rise above this, ignore those that have nothing better to do but start trouble.
They will eventually get tired and toddle off, all we can do is feel sorry for them, so do us all a favour and disappear.

In an ideal world maybe but we're not talking about devils advocates, strong points of view or deeply held values or beliefs here. We are talking about downright insulting behaviour. Choosing not to comment on such behaviour is the easy part, seeing it creeping in more and more is another issue. Reading an interesting thread one cannot help to read these types of comments when they crop up and it's a sad situation. I (for one) would not dream of getting involved in such exchanges but for the most part I read no further and close my browser. Maybe I am over-sensitive.
Do these confrontational types give up and move on? Possible I suppose but human behaviour tending to be what it is this type of rot can spread. Mod's do a great job here but I wonder how many times they really have to control themselves outside calling of "play nice gents".
