Low Flying Missile
Just bought my first sat nav over the weekend, so this morning I went out to check that the car's power socket was working. I've not used the cigar lighter in the car before (by the look of the element it's never been used) so I didn't know if it was 'live' with the ignition off, or whether the key had to be in pos. 1 or 2. A quick way to find out was to press in the button on the lighter and see what happened, but I certainly didn't expect the results. After about 15-20 seconds the lighter shot out of the power socket, hit the gear stick and landed in the passenger footwell. That's some spring!
