Morning all, What a miserable gloomy rainy day again.
Good luck with the sea journey Jeff.

I made some Gregg's style steak bakes & some fry pan bread. Already had a wedge to go with a bowl of soup & very nice it is too.

Good morning Ian,

Looking good.

Can you please send some over to Jeff and his crew. What’s cooking for the weekend?

Last evening when we checked into a hotel near Reading to break our journey to Bristol, the staff In reception said about the parking, “don’t worry about paying as the cameras are not working”, but then the parking app on the phone detects we are there so it’s win-win for the parking blahs, technology who needs it.

No rain here so far, a tad overcast.

Hopefully an uneventful day for Jeff

Morning. Sun trying to poke its nose out but everything is dripping wet from overnight rain. Rain forecast again later with a yellow warning.

Morning Phil, When I took my sister to the hip & knee hospital (as it's known) in Salford last week there were signs everywhere saying you need to get a parking permit from reception only the reception building had been demolished ready for a new building but the cameras were still active. I couldn't find anyone that issued them so just hope I don't get a fine through the post.

I'm just making a wholemeal loaf & it's on it's second proving

I'm waiting in this morning for the delivery guy, My missus decided the recliner in the conservatory had seen better days as the cats used to go to town on it with their claws They've ceased doing it a while ago but the damage was done

Will be arriving in Acle around 11.00am and slipping her lines at 12.00.

Will be live from time to time on Facebook and hope to take some photos to share on here later.

If all goes well we estimate to arrive in Lowestoft Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Marina around 15.30-16.30hrs .

Then its home in time for the Mexican Grand Prix Qualifying.

Back to Norfolk Monday or Tuesday to do the second leg from Lowestoft to Walton on the Naze
You will soon officially be a "Salty Sea Dog",pirate of the high seas, comrade to Capt Pugwash and his crew.

Have a safe passage on the salty stuff Jeff,we are looking forward to all the dry weather to come here in Norfolk,we will miss our ex resident

Cool

Been hammering it down all day, and started to turn chilly.

Hmm . . . . something going on. I was filling the bird feeders when two panda cars and a police Transit flew past with everything on.

I've got my fingers crossed, drying up out there, might even get some of the garden tasks list I was left done tomorrow.

The old copper landlines have been switched off in our neck o the woods, Just connected up ours to the Virgin Media hub & went across to do Mams too, I've had to order phone extension cables off the ebay for us both as they only just reach the hubs.

Fish & rice for tea tonight.

Well, that idea's up in the air! Went into the kitchen (girls nagging me for a biscuit) and the rain is battering on the roof
