Ging has finally come to the realisation that I'm not just at it when I talk about my lack of energy. Dunno if she's been reading up on my problem, she used to get annoyed but now she's talking about "when I get my new medication".

Cool

Morning everyone.

Sunny start to the day, still wearing shorts as well. We had rain in the night.

Yesterday I went to the Rosudgeon Classic Car Show in deepest Cornwall. We was with the CMGOC. Great show and one very rare MG was spotted there, a MG V8C Costello. It’s thought that only 40 was produced. This one is owned by a lady who has had the car from new.

I got lost shunting in Edge Hill sidings Liverpool for most of yesterday on TSW2 Finally fathomed out how to set the points without having to stop & jump down from the cab to set them, Those sidings back in 1958 were the size of a town Pays to read the manual some times

Morning folks. Dentist booked for 12.30 (not tooth hurty) due to severe pressure pain! Arghh! Looks like a goner as it has had a cap before (no chance of draining) and the gum is receeding (gardening term I believe). I hope that I get the lovely nurse that holds your hand and not the one that constantly talks about his fishing trips!

I've always been proud of the fact that I am over 70 and have all my teeth (no hair left though - not on my teeth!).

Think of me whilst you munch your lunch. Soup for me no doubt!
EDIT:-
Lovely dentist and nurse, Apart from the obligatory jabs, never felt a thing. It sounded like a creaky suspension on the way out though! Jabs wearing off now, so more paracetomols and take it easy! I declined to offer of taking my tooth and crown home as I was glad to see the back of it! Donation made to the dentist charity. Thank you NHS.

Afternoon all.

Back from our trip up to the North East.

Met up with Rich and took Quizzie for a good walk. She, of course, couldn't resist a swim in the Tyne.

She then embarrassed herself with the folks that were doing a survey on the walking/cycling path were were using. Well, if you sit on a deck chair with a corned beef sandwich at Quizzie head height what do you expect to happen .

Fortunately the very nice lady who was minus half her sandwich thought that is was her fault as she'd seen a Labrador approaching all smiles and waggy tail........... .

Popped over to see MB to have an ABS sensor checked out - yep, it's duff - and had a good chat and browse of some of his "collection." Quizzie was vocally welcomed by Alfie and managed to charm a "posh" treat for both of them - she's such a floozy. Lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Cheers mate.

Been showery this morning but dry now. The wind is a bit keen though so I reckon Autumn is on it's way.

Good luck to you Phil. Fingers crossed.

Take care everyone.

It will be worth the wait. Mr Hobbs, as we know, is the dogs doodahs for making old Rovers "better"!

Take care on the trains. You could get to like it! Watch out for Celia Johnson selling cheese sandwiches, in the station cafe, or you may have a "brie encounter"!

The forecast rain has arrived right on time. Fried rice with a few roast potato slices & a salmon fillet for tea.
