Default Pics of HK sub install rear shelf

Can someone post a couple of pictures of the rear shelf with HK sub installed please. My new purchase has had highline and HK fitted but I think the shelf is the original and needs a vent hole making to "let the bass out of the box" as it just distorts at any sort of volume.

Also, does the HK amp power all speakers in the car or just the sub? Doesn't sound any louder or different to my standard highline setup in the connie....

Thanks

If you remove the sub, you will see a rubber grommet around 60mm diameter. This is the vent hole, you could use a 2" hole cutter to drill through the parcelshelf then buy a grille.

The HK amp is just a sound processor, a 6 channel one so provides signal to each door, then to the two drivers in the sub.

What head unit do you have?

Hi

The car has high line and someone has added the rear sub shelf and amp - door speakers are not HK, so not a standard setup

So I need to make a hole in the shelf then to let some sound through?.

When you say the hk amp is a sound processor, does it actually amplify or just split the signal from 4 to 6 channels?
