Doesn't matter, it will not overwrite your files, it will stick them in a separate folder

Many thanks for inviting me round for a fitting, sad to say I really can't be driving a 250 mile round trip in a day, the last time I had one fitted by you we stayed in Colchester for the weekend, I know you would do the fitting justice.

Julien.

Julien, if it's a straightforward install (i.e. not replacing highline, no reverse camera etc) then with the loom that Sean and Jeff supply, it ought to be a fairly simple plug and play job (famous last words!). Have I got that right Jeff?

If you bring it along to the New Inn on Sunday, we could have a go at installing it then if you fancy some fun. Can't hurt to try. Worse case scenario is it goes back to Egham with you still in its box!

It's much the same as any of the double din units Cliff and pretty straight forward to install.

Normally I would say I'd be on the end of the phone to assist if needed but I'm doing an install myself but I'm pretty sure you will be fine

got everything apparently connected but 2 issues, swc don't do anything (is that anything to do with the red plug with two wires?) looking at my plugs one of the wires feeds into the plug but nothing comes out the other side.
Secondly every time I start sat nav it asks if I want to continue my route in budapest, saying no cancels it but it reappears next time, everything I do has no effect and I start with a route in Budapest and the GPS switched off until I delete the startpoint.
I've all I can think of to get rid of it to no avail.

Help please

Steering wheel controls need to be connected to that red plug.......usually it's a yellow/blue/green connector with two wires in the centre part, one blue/orange and the other blue/purple but this does depend on what was originally installed.

If those two wires are not present in the connector they will be in the iso connector instead and you will need to join them by splicing and insulating from there.

We are aware of the navigation issue and Sean is working with the factory for a resolution as soon as possible
