HK Subwoofer - Loom for Aftermaket Head Unit
Hi guys,
I retro-fitted the HK subwoofer and would like to connect it to my aftermarket head unit to enjoy the bass. Could I use the original loom and simply use a connector? Anyone got some ICE skills he or she would be willing to share? That would be very much appreciated! Thanks! Head unit: JVC KD-R961BTE Adapter lead: PC99-X39 Cheers Mats |

Also, if you want to improve the bass from the HK sub, I replaced the sub speakers for some rainbow ones which made a big improvement. |

Hi Rick,
thanks for your quick reply! I intended to use the original amp... unless you tell me that it's going to be a big problem. What is required? Also, the idea with the rainbow speakes sounds great! Any link? Thanks! Quote:

Does anyone have a solution? I would like to use the original amp for the installation. I need the loom from amp to head unit. Thanks for the support!

Hi mate, sorry been really busy so not had the chance to get back to you. I'll have to find the link for the speakers, as I can't find it at the moment.
