I tend to try the looney 11 rule detailed here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Looney_11_rule

Anyway, here it is, taken this evening:

The full 'flower' moon from tonight. In truth the full moon can look a bit flat and it's often recomended to wait until the day after to get a better image, but it's just so alluring.

Took this last night.

A very lazy hand held shot from outside the front door so quite a lot of light pollution !

One from tonight. I wanted to get clouds in the shot but didn't work. Came out alright anyway. Handheld at nearly 600mm.

Default My two pennerth

I'm not a photographer so all I can say is these were taken minutes apart on a Samsung Galaxy Ace on 10th Feb 2009.
between photo's I just moved a bit closer to a fence.
This is shot from Crookes looking out over the Rivelin Valley towards Stannington, which is just up the hill from Loxley where Robin was from
(it was the Sherriff who was from Nottingham )
Cold night, bit blurry, but I like them
