Default Mind Those Parcel Costs

I have been using Parcel2go for quite a while now and yesterday, needing to send a small parcel, I started to search for the necessary service.

The item weighed less than half a kilo, 15 x 15 x 20 cms. I had offered free post and packaging to the buyer - doh! they were on the Isle of Lewis. The more I checked the higher the fees went, and when I tried to return to the lower quotes I kept getting kicked out. Alright, there may have been some odd quotes due to my fat fingers but when a quote got to £69, I thought I needed to concentrate.

Eventually I got to the £3.96 which I liked.

I did wonder how many people end up paying large amounts because they were in too much of a hurry, as I was at that time.

And the Isle of Wight, my mother lives over there and I had to send her some stuff recently and they wanted an extra 30% because it was off shore.

I used senditnow for all Scottish and UK islands, especially shipping back and forward to Northern Ireland.

The joke is, they are run by parcel force UK, maintained via the parcel2go network, and kept chela so as to get around anti competitive laws in the UK.

But you need to make sure you click the right set of options else it will always be dearer!
