Default Late Cowley(?) Connie V6

I've put the (?) because the colour is masking the sills some, but I think it might be a Cowley car.

Nice nick either way.

2001 is a little late to be a Cowley and the front and rear trims to the bumpers are colour coded rather than black so i would think its a Longbridge built car ... Looks nice tho

Torpedo badges, real walnut dash, double seat piping and early style bootlid badge & plinth - all points towards an early (so Cowley built) car, but it looks like it's pearlescent BRG and I'm sure that was introduced after the move to Longbridge ? Cowley BRG was metallic wasn't it ??

It has a 1D chassis number, D was Longbridge, M was Cowley.

It's just like the 51 plate I've just got, loads of ppd bits, Cowley boot plinth, BRG Pearlescent, definitely Longbridge

In that case it is a Longbridge built car.

Not always though, my Cowley car was registered in 2001 and has colour coded sills and trim.
After the sale to Phoenix (MGR), prior to the production was transferred to Longbridge, the last of the cars were finished with body coloured sills, at Cowley.

I was aware that there were some Cowleys registered in 2001 but they are not as common as later cars being registered long after production.

Definitely a longbridge car, same spec as my old V6, that was also a Y plate it will have most, but not all of the pre project drive bits

Hello,
I don't want to start any arguments but,
Is a Cowley car better than a Longbridge car?
Perhaps it has better/real/more parts?
Perhaps it is more susceptible to corrosion?
Perhaps it is more valuable?
Can some one enlighten me?
Thanks.
Regards David
