Errr, is this real
All
Wondering round the web looking at Rover stuff and can across this add. SMG were/are a well known reputable company as far as i can remember and they have this advertised. https://www.hursleyhillgarage.co.uk/...752/#top-image Now i was simply thinking the web site was out of date, maybe last being updated in 2008, but they do have newer cars, 14 plate, advertised. And looking at Streetview the images are from 2017 and show the dealer was still there with Rovers on the forecourt. Is it just a wind up or wot. Bean |

No its real, he wont shift on the price and as has been discussed several times will need a load of recommissioning before it is driven.
As soon as it is driven its perceived value will decrease. If you really wanted one it is probably the best one to buy as it is as good as new but personally I think it should be put in a museum, maybe Gaydon? |

You're not kidding, he turned down £25k last December from someone with more money than sense. I'd love the car, but its at least 12k over its worth. Maybe he's hoping it'll appreciate as they become rarer.

I went there to get parts for the Sterling years back (good bloke in the parts dept) and sat in that V8.
I mentioned it to him and he raised his eyes to heaven...
