Default MG R V8 being auctioned at Blenheim. 1,100 miles only!

http://www.coys.co.uk/cars/1995-mg-r-v8-3

Estimated price of 37K to 45K

It's stunning. If only. One can dream I suppose.

Anyone know what colour that green is?

Ali.

I might be wrong, but the colour looks the same as my ZTT, Pearlescent British Racing Green.

It looks like Woodcote Green to me. Probably the most popular colour for the MGRV8.

Unless the photo colours are way out, that's not BRG! (Mine is BRG. I love green cars!) Searching Google for Woodcote Green is does appear to match that colour. Thanks Will. Superb green colour!

Superb car !

Ali.

Sorry, but at the risk of being shot down in flames, regardless of its low mileage, for a budget of £37k - £45k there are many, many other cars with a far higher mileage I would rather have than that one!

For instance:
http://www.balmoraluk.com/vehicle.php?vehicleID=108

or,
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...ce-desc&page=1

or,
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classif...=cm79fp&page=1

etc etc the list goes on.

Any of those I would be happy to drive regularly; i.m.o. a better made and performing car; whereas the car coming up for auction's value surely lies in its low mileage so it shouldn't be driven otherwise it will suffer massive depreciation.

I know cars are very much an individual thing otherwise the world would be a far more boring place, I wonder what other's choice of car (stick to one car, I know you could buy quite a few with that sort of money) would be with that budget?

I'm with you on that! Ridiculous price, even considering the low mileage.

Agree 100%. It will only be worth any thing like that as long as you don't use it and to have that much money tied up in a car you cant use is crazy

How about one of these for similar money

Or one of these

It is Woodcote Green. The majoroity of MGR V8's were produced in that colour, with a few in Oxford Blue, Nightfire Red, solid Red, Black and BRG as well. Most went to Japan as the advert says. That looks like it may be a Japanese car because of the flair in the LHS passenger footwell. Amazingly low mileage .

If it has been to Japan how can the mileage be proved?, originally it would have had a KPH speedo so maybe that is the mileage it has done since it has been back or the new speedo was fitted?
