Default removing doorcard rear door

Hello, I try to remove the doorcard from the reardoor but it stucks somewhere in the middle. I suppose it is mounted behind the armrest but how?

I did, see no pictures. But this is I think from front doors. That is not my problem. I have the rear doorcard from the door, no problem with the plastic clips, neither with the hooks below the window, it just stuck in the middle and I cannot find out how to release it.

There's a metal clip situated behind the door pull

Lift and pull the doorcard with the door pull/armrest and it should detach, the clip sometimes comes off with the door card, remember there's wiring connected to the doorcard.

As noted, the centre is held fast with a barbed tongue sticking from the door frame. This inserts into a black plastic retainer which is held on the card by a metal panel with a slot. The retainer slides into the slot. So, when the fitted card is pulled vertically upwards, the retainer releases from the slot. The card comes off and the retainer stays on the barbed tongue. Remember the cards are all wired into the system so must be positioned carefully so the wiring isn't stretched.

This is the retainer in position on the card.

This is the barbed tongue with captured retainer after card removal.

Here's a closeup of the retainer piece.

To refit the card, the retainer must first be removed from the tongue. To do that the tongue barbs have to be compressed using long nosed pliers. The retainer slides off.

To refit. The retainer is inserted back into the metal slide on the card and pushed fully to the end. Offer the card up to the door from the top edge down, ensuring the upper edge clips are correctly engaged. The central clip is self aligning and a brisk thump with your hand should engage the clip. The engage the outer edge clips and refit the other bits, screws.
