Default Changing Key Fob

I have bought a new key fob can I use the same blade that is in my old fob or will I have to get the new one cut. If I can change it over how do I get the blade out??????

It is possible to pull the blade out. I guess that this was only supposed to be a one way push-in operation, but my spare key has a slightly loose blade I and I have pulled it out once before. It is therefore possible.

Did you get the new fob off the "Bay" ?

One of the fobs on the missus's diesel is so worn it has hole where you press to unlock and I spotted some new spare cases on the bay and wondered exactly as you if the "blade" could be swapped. It certainly looks possible.

Yes, I did it, need some force to get the blade out and some glue to fasten it into the new fob. Don't forget the transmitter to swop over!
