Default Any Interest in a Digital Temperature Gauge?

A lot of you will remember the Hans Gauge and some (like me) will have one fitted. This has not been readily available for some time so I thought it might be an idea to get a similar and possibly improved version manufactured.

I approached the manufacturer of the coolant sensor kit and asked him if he would like to research a new project, which he agreed to. A prototype has been designed, built and is now working but with quite a lot more work to do. It is hoped the display can be a little smaller than Hans's version and we are hoping the readout will match the orange of the 75 rather than the red of the Hans.

What I need to know is there any member interest in a Digital Temperature Gauge otherwise it will not be worth continuing into manufacture? Price should be below £50 delivered, at least that's the target. Availability, if it goes into production may perhaps be 2 to 3 months away.

In the first instance can those interested please post their names on this thread & I will make a note and contact you when things have moved on. You will not be committed to buy, obviously.

Thanks
Jim

I'll start a list here for my own information, so I don't have to trawl all the posts later on. Please note that this a provisional list only and not a commitment to buy.

Yes please - I've not been able to find a Hans gauge for sale so this would be ideal.

My IPK has a broken button from using the OBD so much but it is just about still working
