Hi Sean, a bit more info please. Is this for the non-android units, and if so would it be loaded via the SD slot ?

Thanks

Craig

As spyder says more info please?

I wasn't aware the firmware on the 'original' style units could be upgraded so I guess it's for Android, but please let us know ASAP, please

i do remember Sean saying the original DD couldnt be upgraded, but if it can, may solve the reception issues and tbh thats the ONLY thing that lets that unit down

How is it applied? And is that the original, older design, unit? or the updated unit?

I think what Sean is saying is that it is the original firmware that you can apply to the unit to overwrite the existing firmware if it has become corrupted.

Makes sense for all owners to have a copy of this with instructions in case of any future problems rather than have your unit out of action whilst you ask for and then wait for it to arrive.
