Default reset dd unit

Sean's dd unit shows since yesterday only blue screens by radio, card and cd. I tried to reset and there are 2 little holes on top of the unit which I tried to get in with a pencil but nothing happens. Is there another way to reset except disconnecting the power? Teddy

Wink dd unit

teddy

first of all hello and happy holidays to you

to reset the dd unit i belive its in the top right hand corner above the botton you have to use a pin as the hole is very small

am sure sean will be along shortley or many other members to help you out but try that first

its as you look at the dd unit you do not need to take it out just look at top right hand corner for the hole

hope it helps

Right, thank you for wishes, the same to you and all the other members.
I resetted the unit but the problem stays. Then I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes but that doesn't help. I have a blue screen by sd card, cd and radio. the sd card and cd wont start up. The radio plays but I have to change channels by steering wheel controls. The digital tv works and so does the navigatie. I really don't know what else I can do. Teddy

Disconnect for at least 3-4 hours. 15 minuts wont clear the cache
Also Check all connections.

When radio plays, do you get visual ?

Right, sorry for late respons.
Had a very busy week and only 2 days ago time to disconnect battery.
Problem solved, no blue screens anymore, only the igo 8 does some very strange things.
Change suddenly from map into a different screen with a huge driving speed in the middle without touching the screen. And goes back to map after a couple of minutes.
And before, the trip went to zero everytime I started the car, now it goes on where it has stopped the last time. Have to find out what is happening. And I have done a reset.
Sean, is it possible to send me a copy of the primo, so I can try of this program have the same problem?
If so, I will send you an email so you can send it to me on that address.

It is far too big a file for email, over 2Gb. Sugarsync, or Dropbox or putting it onto a website are the only way online.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

OK, thanks, than there's a problem.
Don't know what a Dropbox is and I have no site.
And sugarsync? Can I reach that without giving personal items.
I'm a litttle affraid about such things on internet.
Maybe there's another way? Just asking . . . .
