Default Windscreen wiper malfunction, HELP!

Hi there, new to the club and have an MOT failing issue with front windscreen wipers. BTW they are rain sensor wipers.
The windscreen wipers go berserk and dont always stop in the park position, thus impeding view out of screen and causing an MOT failure. This occurs no matter which position that I put the wiper stalk in to operate wipers.
Please help!!

My guess is that this would be due to a failed relay.

You've put this in the v8 section instead of the technical help one so less peeps will see it.

My guess is the motor is u/s.
