Default MAnual Gearbox cdt

MY ZTT apparently has a hammer blow crack that no one knows how it happened. I can guess how but the guy it might have pertained to is long gone so I'm in need of another. The cracks on a fin that might just be at, or make it to, the main casing. No one wants to touch it now so I need another. Clutch will be due soon so I need a replacement sooner rather than later especially since the nearside seals gone, which I'd given a replacement for which wasn't done; part not handed back either. SO to get them to do any work on the gearbox as I'm no longer in a location where I can do myself living on a hill I need a replacement manual gearbox mainly for peace of mind really.

If the crack is on a fin, drill a 3-4mm hole at the base of the crack, this will prevent it travelling further.

It disappears behind the fin next to the housing though, which leads me to believe too much movement or another knock will result in the housing itself cracking.
