Talking The greengrocers' apostrophe

Ha ha, you certainly had done a sterling job Mike, up to that point! You were not even caught out by this: others', so congratulations have been earned and are most definitely due.

It's a slight shame though that, right at the end, a simple plural got the better of you (see the quote above) when you were on a roll with the apostrophes.

Best wishes and I hope the meeting goes well.

Simon

Thanks Mike for another great meet, and the change of venue after being informed that the restaurant was closed after we arrived was inspired.

I second that, excellent venue and breakfast, great company - thoroughly enjoyed it and hope we use that again!

Thanks to Rob for showing me the direct way home through extremely narrow lanes, but it was shorter as only 20 miles door to door.

Thanks to all and look forward to next meet.

Thanks to Mike for finding such a nice alternate.

cheers all,

Jennifer

I must apologise for not checking that the Toby had stopped doing breakfasts, apparently due to a lack of staff.

However, the little cafe that we moved onto does appear to have saved the day.

Ironically, after the same Toby shut for a refit, and then re-opened for breakfast a week later than their website advertised, was when Jan & I "found" the above little cafe.
We both knew of it's existence, but had never been there before.

Regards

Mike & Jan
