Default MOT Pass - but…..

Passed with no advisories for the second year running but as he backed it out the garage the mechanic told me the ABS light had come on. No speedo driving home which implies a front sensor (which?), yet the sensors still pass the static ignition on test. So presumably a front hub change, a bit of a pain as I’ve just changed a front OS spring and was sure I was careful refitting the drive shaft

Thanks, except that I can’t really use the car until the ABS / Speedo issue is fixed.

Front offside if it's the speedo.

Thank and damn. That’s the leg I’ve just had off to change a spring. Maybe something has got in and damaged the ring yet I was so careful

Check the route of the cable from the sensor, known to rub on the tyre when on full lock and rub through

Thanks Dave. Odd thing is the static test passed. If there was an intermittent issue such as the cable rubbed through but not broken, once this is detected will that sensor be disabled until the igntis switched on again?
