Fitting OEM Saloon Roof Bars
Hi all,
Aquired a set of original Rover roof bars, can't for the life of me work out how they are meant to mount onto the roof. Taking off roof bungs reveals a thread on the drivers' side but on the passenger side it appears to have some sort of aluminium 'thing' with no thread. What's going on here |

That shouldn't be there, all holes under the covers should be threaded the same

you can see one side is fine..
and the other has the weirdness I wondered whether you just had to unscrew the blank but it doesn't wanna budge. You can see it's pretty soft metal from the pic where I've had a go at it. Just wondered if I was missing something obvious |

False alarm!
They were plastic plugs. Came out and had the thread underneath. Doh!. |
