SO took my 75 for her retest as she failed her NCT on the Handbrake. Yes, she is now Nct'd for another 9 months.....

Then after pulling into the driveway I noticed a trail of fluid following the car. I seem to have a diesel leak in the engine bay.
I looked under the car and the exhaust and gearbox were covered in Diesel
Weather was to bad to get under an have a look. will do that tomorrow, weather permitting.

Cool

Shoved £50 worth of go go juice into the Bear. Pumped her tyres up and gave her a wash.

Fixed a fuel leak.

Flushed with that, decided I didn’t want any skin on my hands and changed the thermostat O rings and clips.

Thumbs up

Washed, then followed that with a going over with a clay mitt, followed by a coat of Autoglym super resin. Paint work now super smooth, might go a bit faster and save a bit of fuel

Replaced my interior dome light. Realised there were two screws hiding in there just in time before I broke the old one

Gave mine a good clean for the first time in far too long and booked it in to a local shop to have the front arms changed. Only had them for a year and a half but the knocking suspension has got so bad I don't dare put it off any longer.

Finally changed offside indicator side repeater, kept popping out, last time at motorway "legal" speed limit, hell of a banging noise on drivers door.

On another note, going through old paperwork noticed that a new 4 way exhaust manifold with cat was fitted in 2012 together with head gasket work.
Head gasket was replaced again last year so car had new manifold and cat at 9 years old. We are now another 9 years on so decided to look up how much another replacement would be, cannot find them for sale anywhere, what happens if it needs replacing again? Are they still available anywhere?
