Default Tourer rear wiper not working

Does anyone have any ideas on solutions for non working tourer rear wipers.
I have changed the motor, checked the fuse - ok, checked the wiring where it goes into the boot - ok. The wiper is a little stiff but it does move. I have checked it with the glass open and it still makes no difference.
When it failed it life’s an inch or two then stopped.

Thank you

Do you mean LIFTED. ?

Do you have a 12 volt supply actually at the motor ??--The fuse might be OK but there could be a break in the wiring.---

On all the tourers I have had or still own the problem lies in the partial siezure of the wiper spindle. Cure is to strip out the spindle clean both the spindle and the tube it runs through grease and reassembel and you should have a working rear wiper.

I would remove bad clean the shaft fully, the action shouldn’t be a little stiff, this will put strain on the motor.

I have had a look at this when I got home from work. The motor I have tested off the car and it works. The wiper is a little stiff but is not too bad. The wire that goes round the tailgate is fine as I’ve belled that out. But the wiring that is coming out of the car I have checked and I am getting no volts on the orange and green no volts on black and just under 8 volts on the black and yellow. There is no damage to the wires either.

Youve said it the wiper is a little stiff, strip, clean and lube shaft before you do anything else.

The wiper shaft isn’t the issue. I have connected a working motor but not screwed it to the tailgate and shut the tailgate then tried it. The wiper motor still doesn’t turn. I am thinking it could be something to do with the stalk.
