Would like to see the outcome on this too: some people who've been on here for some time will remember the Remote T4 project that Rover54 and his friend put together and then fixed my car from my driveway 2 hrs north of Stockholm while operating a T4 in London. A 100% success in my mind but didn't go down too well with others.
If Jamiewelch is able to remotely install the diesel upgrade I can imagine lots of owners would be interested, not me though as all mine are V6s. Regards |

Why don’t you just roll your neck in young man, I’m fed up with your accusations over dawns old car, (incidentally that will be the same engine that your marra mr force dragged out of a swamp before ripping dawn off) I’ll not be attending the nano meet as 1. You can’t compare remaps in a pub car park and 2. I don’t really want to socialise with you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And you can tell a difference when you drive the car by how it feels! And awh, I was looking forward to meeting you There is definitely a couple people there that will agree that a different map (I'm not saying it is better or worse). Feels a lot more lively and nippy than a "160" map. |

Yes the antifreeze was put in at a weaker concentrate, this was done in summer and as dawn was planning on changing the heater matrix it wasn’t an issue. Surely a new owner of a car would check fluids etc when taking ownership? And yes, different maps do feel different, I owned a certain mirage with a different map on and the car did go well. Just so you know, the cam belt didn’t slip on me. It was during the previous owners ownership. |
