Arrow The 29th Club National Meet Sunday 19th April - POSTPONED

***MEET NOW POSTPONED***

Announcing The 29th Owners Club National Meet

on Sunday 19th April

The Club's 29th National Meet will be held on
Sunday 19th April 2020 (The day after The Pride Of Longbridge)
at
Wythall Transport Museum
Chapel Lane
Wythall
Worcestershire
B47 6JX

From 11:00am
Entry price £7.00 per person
payable on the day

The museum is home to over 90 buses.
Midland Red, WMPTE blue and cream and the corporation fleets
from Birmingham, Walsall, West Bromwich and Wolverhampton
are all represented, plus local independent operators.

The transport museum is also home to the largest collection of battery electric road vehicles,
including over 30 electric milk floats and bread vans from operators such as
the Co-op, Midland Counties and Birmingham and Handsworth Dairies

HALL 1 - situated in front of the admission kiosk as you enter,
shows how public transport enabled people to get out and about,
plus plenty of insights into the operating and manufacturing sides of the industry.
The Art Depot area contains lots of examples of bus company art and photography.

HALL 2 - situated to the rear of the cafe, contains the Battery Electric vehicles.
Don't miss these gems at the back of the site, including the largest collection
of restored battery electric vehicles in the world, and probably
the largest Birmingham coat-of-arms in existence,
set in stone outside the main entrance.

HALL 3 - opposite the side of the Power Hall is the museum's display yard
and is home to the running fleet. This is where volunteers restore and
maintain Wythall's collection ranging from immaculate examples
to those which are almost total wrecks.

We will be presenting the 2020 Windrush Award for the best car in show
as voted for by those attending, as well as selling items from the club shop such as mugs,
grille badges, key rings, pens, stickers and decals.

Wythall Transport Museum is just 6 miles from Cofton Park in Birmingham,
the location of the The Pride Of Longbridge the day before,
So why not make a weekend of it and attend both events?
