Is it the photo or have the rear seats been bleached by sunlight?
I like the paintwork but wonder why the person who specifying it didn't go for leather seats?

Not everyone likes leather & although l do, l suspect the cloth seats are more comfortable generally, including in hot & cold weather. Many people say so plus that the seat heaters are more effective through the cloth.
I also think they look great in cloth as well as leather.

Personal line interiors were available from Club spec upwards, so any Club or Club SE orders would have come with speckle velour trim as standard (rather than leather).

I guess most people who had the available funds to spend on a PL interior would have been ordering Connoisseur or SE spec, hence the cloth seats are indeed very rare. I can only remember seeing one other set in Aubergine, in a black saloon in a Cornish scrap yard many years ago.

Is the velour trim even rarer?. I have read on here that back in the day dealers were pushing the leather option as it brought in more profit.

Once again, the seller lists the bad points - air con. and leaking sun roof as "easy fixes". If this is really the case, although I strongly suspect not, then why not just put them right and reflect this in the asking price? And as for "uber rare"...................?

The Rover dealership I worked at back in the day sold 2 Club models with Personal Line Trim. Both V reg an Arden Green with green trim and a Zircon Silver with blue. Both looked lovely.

I like the cloth interior. Mine has cloth. I would prefer leather but it wasn't what the car came with so I wont change it. Nice colour combination though.
