Probably faster with polish and aluminium oxide powder.
Not sure if it will work on all formulations of glass though...

I managed to remove some of the scratches on my current V6 using 3G rubbing compound and a power polisher.
It took quite a bit of time and I’m sure I could have removed more scratches if I had persevered.

I wonder if it's easier to lacquer or resin the glass to fill the scratches and then cut that back..?

Clean out the seals, vigorously.
Then get new glass

It is impossible to polish tempered glass.

When glass is tempered, the molecular structure changes, this means it cannot be cut or reworked in any way whatsoever.

The only cure is to replace the scratched glass, and clean or replace the door top seals

I did try to polish scratches out of my Rover 75 I used to own drivers door window with a specialist kit and it definitely does not work, I replaced the glass with a better piece.

I know of somebody who tried to polish some scratches out of car glass and because it gets hot it shattered, there is another video on youtube showing something similar but he keeps spraying it with water to cool it.

As has been said, don't waist your time trying to remove scratches just replace the piece the glass.
