Don't moan about rust...
For anyone that thinks a little rust at the back of a sill is reason to scrap your 75/ZT, take a look at this...

Never mind the rust, it's not a Vitesse just a bog standard SD1 3.5 V8.
Worth about £50. Tom.

Now that has potential, with the car out of the way you could grow your own vegetables.

Rover SD1 3.5 V8 back in the late 70s, he just replaced his Mercedes against family advice, for this\ wonderful looking and very well appointed red Rover, this was a car so ahead of its time it really did turn heads, HOWEVER, however, the build quality was poor, it leaked water, oil, etc etc electrics well they did whatever they wanted, I think he took it back within a month go a full refund and, YES you go it he bought a Mercedes again, and the British car industry continued its downward toiletorial decline, round about the same time another German car maker was beginning to be noticed by the public, it was almost unknown in the UK, it had this crazy three letter name,..... BMW, wonder what happen to them.? as for the maker with the four OOOO rings, well it was only known in racing circles, but rumour had it that they were making 'good' cars, wander what happened to them.? Funny really to think that one minute you have the world at your feet, the next, you are swimming in ****, |
