Nobby,
Brilliant Tour of the Vulcan, thanks for organizing it. Apologies for leaving early, but it was so damn cold that the lure of the Pub, food, warmth and drink proved totally irresistible. Peter. |

Cheers Peter - Glad you enjoyed it.
Was a bit cold and wet but You could always have come back after warming up and feeding your worms as I stayed on site taking people around until 3:30. alternatively I had some Halibo's in the car you could have had to keep you going

A massive thank to Nobby for organising a great tour of the Vulcan at Wellesbourne earlier today, pity about the rain but it didnt dampen the enthusiasm to see this great beast of an aircraft up close and personal.
The team of volunteers were so knowledgeable ( including Nobby ) about the aircraft and answered all questions thrown at them, if any more tours are organised it is highly recommended. A climb up to the cockpit made the tour and the chance to have the cars pictured next to the Vulcan later, a great day, some of my pictures below
