So are the bolts into the bodyshell (can the inner end of the bolts be accessed to lube?)?

Thumbs up Two please

Hi Mat , what you are doing is brilliant - please count me in for two. One on my Tourer is in a rather 'fragile' state so a replacement soon will be great. The Saloon is better but will go at some time!
Keep up the good work - much appreciated. These cars are really worth it.

If they are like this then in two halfs, my bracket broke due to rust and lower engine mount shaking the exhaust.
Steve (Steveo) found and fitted a decent one all I did was hammerite it.

Right, we have an update!
A contact at MG has found us a source of these, but for now we're only ordering these in to demand, while we work out how many we'll need to keep and store.

Pricing and details here: WFS100443 - Fuel Tank Strap - 75 / ZT

If we order these what would the lead time be. I currently have the back end off my car so if they came fast i would probably order one of these, otherwise i wouldnt bother, and would wait for the stainless version to do at a later date.

They'll be 2-3 weeks from ordering to delivery, providing MG are pretty nifty at having them with us.

We have the stainless versions on hold now these are available - we wanted any version available, and as these will take up quite a lot less room and time, we'll keep these as our offering for now.

If they're properly rust-protected before fitting, there's no reason they won't last 10-15 years (or more if re-protected regularly).
