I know exactly what you mean Vinnie. Last year I went to the Longbridge weekend meeting where Coolcat helped me with my Navall1 and before that a visit to Andy (Trikey) who arranged a driversseat (RHD) for my LHD car. After that a visit to Jules who did changed my aircopump, condensor and vin and some other parts. Unbelieveble the kindness and help I was given by these guys. The end of August I am visiting again Andy to do some repairs on my car. Allready looking forward to meet him again.

Should've know Steve, could've added you to the list of people I thanked .

Next year Ken. I'll try to really make a holiday out of it.

Good to hear I'm not the only one Gerard.

Hi Vinnie

It was really nice to meet you both and I'm glad it worked out for you - sort of - glad the IPK was of use too. Was interesting to see the seats go in at the back!

Happy it was a fruitful trip anyway.

Take care

What a great story ! I don't post often, but am a regular visitor to the site. It just goes to show that the help and knowledge is available, with a good chunk of friendliness thrown in. Well done to all concerned !

Regards Mark

Vinnie, as you say, you really must stay longer next time. I'd give it a week and preferably two, if you want a genuine hint of what we have to offer.
Us Brits love slating our own country generally, but we really do have some lovely countryside, some great roads, as well as all the usual sights that you'd expect.

And yes, come earlier or even slightly later.
You couldn't have picked a busier week to do this trip, which is what makes it so expensive on the Ferries/tunnel.

That said, I'm glad you got mostly the right result mate
