Not a mis-placed sunvisor connector is it?

I had a closer look, There's no 12 V power on it, no +, no acc, no power with instrument lights on. I thought it was coming out the loom of the gear selector, but it is taped to it, later on. Now I'm trying to find the other end but then I need to remove the ashtray and middle console I think, don't know how to do that.
Now my idea is, it is a mod a former owner has made bacause no one else have it. (or maybe it is only on cars LHD)

(I can also leave it for what it is.

I'm still very curieus about it.

If it was me, seeing as it has no power going to it, I'd just forget about it.....

Of course it could have something to do with the Phone Option...

if it is the connector for the sunvisors and it looks like it to me as well.question one does your car have illuminated sunvisors and do they work.if it has not put a fuse in for them in the fuse board.this is because if the car is not fitted with at the factory your car will not have the fuse fitted, then test it and see.of course if you do have the lit visors this will rule that one out.if it is i have seen them well hidden but never there
