Default What connects this?

I found a small black connector with 2 wires under the automatic gear lever, but cannot found something to put it in.

[IMG]file:///C:/Users/Gebruiker/Desktop/20131006_142712.jpg[/IMG]

anybody knows where it is for or where to connect?

Gerard

Can't see your photo for some reason but I'm guessing it could be the reversing wires which you can connect rear cameras onto etc.

Are you anywhere near the racing circuit btw
Great track that I'd love to visit someday

I can tell you exactly why you can't see the picture, the user has tried to use the image tags with the picture on his own hard drive (hence the C:\users part in the link)

Teddy, you will need to upload the photo to a site such as photobucket, imageshack etc to get it posted on the forum for people to see

OK, I'm not so good in this, this is better?

Jeff, my house is about 5 minutes walking from the racetrack, I know it very well, as a volunteer by the police I spend many days on it.

I'm pretty sure that is the Cable extension for the Aux Socket in the Centre Cubby Hole.... (Of course I could be horrible wrong - so get some confirmation)! But the Black will be Earth and the other should be Live.

Bill, I don't think so, it is coming out the loom for the gear selector. And the cable for the cubby hole have three wires, an earth, a permanent live for the aux and a contact live? for the torch.
But I also could be wrong offcourse.

I think that Bill could on the right track.
Here is a diagram of what the aux. power socket connector looks like, if it helps. (item 19). It is 2 wire.

The torch is fed by a by a separate connector, but is nothing like the one in your picture, as it has clips. Both are 2 wire though.

I will see if I can check out the colours for you.

Well, it looks like the search continues!
I took the cubby box out to have a look at the connectors, and they look like this.

So, we can discount the Aux. Power socket, as the OEM one has much thicker wires and are colour coded orange and black.
