We all know that if you hit the 'ECON' Button on the Climate Control it switches the A/C off. But did you know that if you hit it again the A/C comes on but acts just like a normal A/C and not like Climate Control, (AUTO) so you can change the other settings, ie direction/fan/temp/recirc, but the A/C will remain on until you hit the 'ECON' again. (Or 'AUTO' then 'ECON').

So in retrospect if you want 'ECON' on make sure you only press it once otherwise instead of you thinking you have disengaged the A/C you have in fact turned it on without the 'AUTO' light on.....

Unfortunately this feature is only on the facelift models.

Same on the Mk2 tourer, hold the unlock button and the tailgate opens.

Well, all I can say Dave, this happens on mine....?? And it was by accident. I went to switch to 'ECON' because I didn't need the A/C but I had accidentally pressed it twice 'coz I hit a bump at the time and was wondering why I was still freezing! So I pressed it again, and the A/C went off...

Annnnd,if you've got cloth seats,if you feel under the rear seat, between the seat & backrest, you'll find 2 straps, one either side, that when pulled, releases the seat back for folding

about the wipers, when they are in slow and you stop, set them in fast and back in slow, then they keep running. But you have to repeat it every time you stops.

The programme is called intelligent wipe, the feature works well, T4 will also give you a choice of how many times the wipers run across the screen when the washers are used.

Cars equipped with rain sensors, the system works well, but in my opinion could be better.

One thing I just stumbled across today

If any indicator bulbs stop working, the ticking you get when you indicate increases in frequency (and possibly volume) in the direction of the broken bulb.
Nice!
