Steering rack? My car is LHD. I suppose I look at the other side. Through the wheelarch? Think I am going to a garage to do it. Can not reach by myself. And what about the connection to only one of the 2 units? Any idea?

Nobody knows?
Still wondering why there is only one cc unit connected by the fusebox. There is a cc unit and a cc interface unit placed on the bracket. The interface unit is connected to the loom but the other unit isn't connected. Is it just sitting there for the fun? Do I miss a connector somewhere? It is a mystery to me.

I had my glove box out at the weekend and my cruise ecu was definatly plugged into somthing, If you can wait until tonight I will have a look at rave and let you know where and what should be connected to it.

Thanks, that would be great. After a long search I found this . . .

Complete parts required

Steering wheel switches
Master switch in centre console
Barke switch above brake pedal
Clutch switch above clutch pedal
Vaccum pump fitted to driver's side chassis rail
ECU (1 for manual, 2 for auto) above fusebox behind glove compartment
Vaccum pipe from vaccum pump to throttle actuator
Throttle actuator

Assuming wiring is in place.

I have auto, so I need both ECU, I like to hear from you.

ok, everything is placed and connected, except the cc unit as mentioned above. The main switch lights on when pressed, but thats all. No light on the dash. The switch by brakepedal is on the right place and pressed on by me. I tryed the steering wheels but nothing happens. Maybe I need the CC unit connected?
Someone knows how by a petrol auto?

Gerard

Things to do, fitting the Kaiser thermostat, rad is leaking, maybe doing the same time.

sorry for not getting back to you earlier, i am presuming that you have the cruise ecu hooked up, the smaller unit is marked in my car as the cruise interface but on rave is referred to as the cruise relay control and it should connect to the cruise ecu, brake switch, and switch.

This is definitely in Ed the Zed's future, as travelling up to Yorkshire yesterday on the A1, I really missed having cruise!

Both units under the fuse box have to be connected, the connector may be taped up against the existing loom, mine was. It is not the easist place to get into but it will be there.
