To far for me then James

My Missus 'Delivers' the car (& me) down to Poole Park, and then walks home. All of 10minutes walk.

Cheers

Cool

Well we are here waiting for the others to turn up. Parked on the grass as arranged.

Seems we maybe a bit early.

Hi friends, due to continuing `attrial fibbrillation' I may have open heart surgery to replace my mechanical Aorta valve on or about Aug. 27th. and removal of the thyroid gland. This is subject to the clinicians and surgeons decisions at the time. Hey, every day is a good day. *Maybe they could fix my cars fan. hahaha. I'll keep you posted folks, meanwhile, smile have fun and enjoy every day. Michael.

Hi Michael,

Sorry to your news, but pleased you are handling it so well. I along with everyone wish you a speedy return to better health, keep your chin up

I wish I was in a position to help sort out meeting, but no council in my pocket

Looks like a hold on the meet until perhaps September sometime, to enable you to be able to attend unless anyone else has got a plan ?

Yes please - presumably a weekend day.

Mike just read your news - all the very best my wife has AF and it is so difficult to manage at times.
I do hope all goes well with the prognosis and that we see at the meet whenever.

Kind regards

Colin

Hi Michael,
I wish you all the best for next week and they do a good job of fixing you up.

Erm, why don't you arrange a meeting somewhere else if the park isn't available? Park and ride car park near Creekmore? That's always empty innit?

If... You arrange a meeting somewhere in or near Poole, and if, it is on or near the 28th of August, I should be able to attend. as I will be in town for a few days visiting Mike and other family members..

28th Aug. is very close. I wish I could do something but..............

Anybody else in a position to arrange anything, or have we got to let it go this year, pity

On the other hand perhaps we should just go for it........... & move if we get told off ! Question for James: How long before Michael would be able to attend ? or is that out of the question for the forseable future

Hi Alf.

Dunno really, but the quicker he recovers the sooner I can come home.

At a guess, if they only do the thyroid, 10 days perhaps?

But if they replace the heart valve, it could be weeks I think.

Shame they didn't leave an access panel the first time innit...
