what is the best way to remove the parcel shelf?
Think I picked up a bargain yesterday a rear parcel shelf electric blind and switch for £50.
I have check at the switch end and the wiring for the switch is there can I therefore assume that the wiring will also be at the blind end? What is the best method to remove the shelf? Haynes say remove rear seat is that necessary? It looks like the whole thing is just clipped in with just 1 red clip in the boot to be pushed up. Confirmation and tips appreciated.

There is a how too............
But they are a pain too fit, Basically..... Remove both D Pillar trims Remove seat base Remove centre seat belt mount Remove the two "J" Trims behind the seat Remove the fir tree clips on the lower edge of the shelf From inside the boot, undo 3 x 10mm nuts, and push the red fir tree clip up. Then start pulling.... When you replace it, mind you don't knock the HRW connections off, and don't forget to plug the loom on to the motor.

Thanks for that Greeners, where are the bolts by had a look but can't see them obviously not looking in the right place. Do I need to crawl into the boot to get at them?

Should be three (from memory) but might only be one in the middle.
It's a while since I've taken one out. You'll probably need to climb in with a torch. Check on the electric blind for location.

I have to get mine off to fit the reversing sensor sounder. ... |

Pop the sensor under shelf in the boot.

Hi Dave, I would love too, but can't get at the lil plug the sounder plugs into, so I have to take the top bit off somehow in order to find it.

If you take the bung out on the passenger side from inside the boot, it's sometimes possible to hook it out here's the how to if you can access it.

Hi Dave. I have taken the bung out, but there simply isn't enough movement in the harness to move it, so I can't get near the plug.
It's deff gonna be a shelf top off job. In fact I think I will leave it to the elec shop that are installing the system. ... |
