Where can I get a spare from?................I have the basic alloy type.............excuse me not sure what they called

on a '02' car i would say it will be the internal spline type,two keys and the most common is 12.

check ebay or put a post up in items wanted

This socket can be purchased from any ex Rover dealer who still supply rover parts

The ones on eBay are often dearer than the MGRover price.

They're a fiver on eBay atm. I can't see them in Rimmer's listing, but a fiver seems fair enough. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=r...sacat=0&bkBtn=

The No12 fits 90% of cars, so it's a reasonable bet yours is.

Reason not on the Rimmers listing or on EPC is so the Part Number is not generally known as a security measure. .
Are available from Rimmers and any XPart Parts dealer.

A tyre fitter damaged mine. They are also used by BMW so he got me a new one from a BMW dealer.

They are in stock at Rimmers and cost £2.95 each + VAT.
Just ask for: Adaptor-road wheel security (No 12)
If you also need the Part Number for your own records, subscribed members can PM me for the Information.

Also, if you have the McGard type, they can be contacted direct on 004971 3390190

Far cheaper than the Prices on EBay.
