Try!
Although I was a keen rugby player in my youth (which is a long time ago now) it's not a game I've ever dreamt about - until last night. I found myself playing for the RAF in the Inter Services Championship and with seconds to go before the final whistle and trailing by a single point I had the ball and was sprinting down the field. I'd sidestepped all but a single defender who was waiting to intercept me, but there was no way of running round him so as I approached I dummied to the left then hurled myself to the right as I dived for the line - and bang!
Instead of landing on cushioning earth and grass I hit my bedroom floor with a thud and now have a twisted big toe on my left foot and a bruised shoulder. I need to go back to dreaming about gentler pursuits.
