It's mind boggling.....Mine is a Classic tourer, and I recently had a build check with Reebs.
Mine has full electric heated seats , elec windows front and rear, and other stuff that was not on the original order spec for my vin number.

So would I be cheeky thinking I had a Classic/Connie unofficially of course

Are we entirely sure about digit 9??
The American market requires digit 9 to be a check digit, and is chosen according to a formulae applied to the other digits.
Although not compulsory in Europe, most manufacturers still complied.

Bit confused with this one as this list shows my car is wrong and a 2003 year car ... It's not and has been previously Vic checked due to cat c marker!

Car is a ZT+ 160 on a 2002 '02' reg chassis number is SARRJXLEE3D260516
Has electric front and rear windows, electric mirrors, atc, 6 disc changer, monaco half leather and it's commission number is still present on b post ... 7318 ... Were MGR group so lazy as to get the vin plates wrong??

It's quite possible your car is a 2003 model year car, even if built in '02.
Quite common practice in the industry.
If you look closely your car may have less equipment (or more.....) than a MY 2002 car

Question

Still confused with mine.
My VIN is SARRJSLLM5D331266 which was manufactured in May 2004 according to the plate and exported to Australia. However although the VIN indicated it is a Club there is a Connoisseur sticker on the drivers door pillar and it has numerous but not all Connoisseur features. Were the Facelift models different to the pre-facelift models in feature fitment? Should I call it a Club or Connoisseur?
Thanks George

Question Curious ....

to know why according to the VIN on my Connie (SARRRJZLPB5D333101) I own a 2005 vehicle yet according to the VRN (AX04YZR) I'm driving an early 2004 model?
