I give up

Just put the fuel pressure gauge on just now and it's only showing 3bar pressure.

I don't get why it's driving right after changing the regulator yet still only showing 3 bar on gauge.

Two questions spring to mind:
  • Were you sold a genuine, boxed 1.8T fuel pump (and not a 1.8 version)?
  • Does this still leave the possibility that your filter module requires tightening?

The pumps correct has correct part code.

Might try swapping for the pipe work and filter module that came with the pump.

I don't get why it's driving well now even though the pressure is the same.
