I've followed Spurs since the double winning team of 1960/1961 - local interest, as their centre forward was Bobby Smith from just up the road in Lingdale.
I'm a late convert to rugby - cricket was always my main sport, from secondary school through to being too old to bend over and pick the ball up
Fiery Fred was my boyhood hero

That's exactly the same time i started with Spurs Like all kids,you tend to support the most successful team of the time,Spurs then,later Manchester,or whatever,Liverpool,etc. But Cricket & Rugby were the only sports played at my Grammer School,so it's all i knew.Headingly ashes test,81 Baa Baa's v All Blacks,Gareth Edwards,et al Happy days Oh & all the Lions tours,
