Thank you Hristo, our journey here, took us off road through Tsavo East. To have a break, we spent the night in a Lodge in the park and saw some of the wild animals. I took a couple of photos of a Lion standing in the bushes, hiding from the hot sun. It was eating a baby Giraffe! (No photo)

Thank you Gordon It was a chance photo. We were driving off road through the long grasses, when we came across the lion standing behind a bush. We were about 50 meters away. Car or no Car, lol had we got any closer, Simba would have had us for dessert Most of the time, lions kill their prey before eating it.

Here is a shot of a running Somali Ostrich, characterised by blue/grey in its neck. The common African Ostrich has a pink neck.
