Right then me awld mucker my oil man says "YOU WANT THAT OUT!" they do a total driveline oil which we use here & he says it's both GL4 & GL5 friendly (different chemical) but yes GL5 will rot the yellow metals in your box. If you can get hold of GB Lubricants then it's called Gerion TDL 80-90

It's harmful but doesn't act that quickly like I said just change it as soon as humanly possible & maybe change it again after a few miles, the only difference between the 2 oils is there's more of the additive in GL5, it's still there in GL4 but not as strong so not harmful |
