You have to register then ask the question for specialist lubricants I think. Haven't registered so I may be wrong.

Marina box is MGB isn't it? They take 20w50 just found.

That wont matter Phil it wont do any harm might make the gears a little tighter to select that's all but in any case I dont think 10/40 was around then

Certainly the 1.8 was the same as the mgb

Doubt it on one of those, in any case as old 2Diesels always says "the wrong oil's better than nee oil"

just to throw a spanner in the works Autodata says 90 in the box & axle

I've got loads of old Castrol lubrication charts at home I'll look tonight & let you know if that's not too late

Thanks mate. I think I'll put some ep90 in it now Im getting paranoid now. I can always change it again. I've got the afternoon off anyway.
