Brilliant news, Rover are back, they aren't a ''governant'' and have the thoroughly professional email address ''[email protected]'' for anybody wanting to place fleet orders of cars that have yet to be named, designed, built or even drawn in crayon.

Put me down for half a dozen of whichever one has the most walnut please!

My only worry is that Im 48 in September and I retire in 20 years time and I will never get to own any of these new Rovers before I croak it.
Is there any chance I can have a tour around your shed before I drop off this earth so I can say Ive been to the production plant?
I want a Rover with..
A digital clock
Walnut plastic
A fag lighter
Blue tint at the top of the windscreen
One of those pimpled rubber mats that fit into a groove on top of the dash
A passenger air bag that sticks out of the passenger side dash as if it was an after thought
Hydro suspension that needs pumping up every year
Black sills that can be painted with tar to prevent more rust
A big fancy plastic....sorry chrome grill
A Lucas radio
And above all an aerial that sticks out of the front wing.
That is a real Rover!

Oh and built in Bradford sticker on the rear window.

are you certain you haven't just merely bought a domain name?

Must admit I'm curious (but don't really care tbf) as to whether you are actually serious or just a professional wind up merchant?

So in a years time according to your doomsday sorry countdown clock you start production?

Maybe try dragons den for some investment as you'll need a shed load of money I'm sure they'll offer to help revive a defunct manufacturer. Now reborn via the otely 5.

I admire your enthusiasm Thomas, but this is surely a wind up or a fantasy.

If serious then you need professional help, your web site needs to impress.
Get a friend to go through it and point out the errors.
First glance web page looked good, then I started to read and my jaw dropped

To get people on board, get professional help

I’m impressed that you’ve gone to the extremities of creating a website, but I might suggest if that is your real address on the website you may want to remove it.

Open invite for some JLR lawyers to come knocking in my opinion!

Just looked at the website, first thing that really hits you is all the spelling mistakes and lack of capitals, i.e. country names.

Also, to be taken seriously real businesses do not use “gmail”. Set up your own domain via someone like 1and1 it does not cost a fortune.
