Default Help locked out!

S Daughter's new to her diesel has started its fun and games all ready! She cannot open the doors remotely with the only key, nor can she open the drivers door with the key blade as the lock is broken-ie it spins round with no effect.
The boot can be open with the key. The light on the key fob glows when the open button is pressed but no activation.
The car is ten miles away so i can only quiz SD down the phone. Is there a way to get in thru the boot-can i access the straps from boot-side?
All help gratefully received

UPDATE-ACCESS TO CAR HAS BEEN GAINED AND IS NOW ON ITS WAY TO MY DRIVEWAY FOR AN INVESTIGATION SESSION
FINAL(courtesy) UPDATE- Turns out the fault all the time was a dodgey connection on the unlock micro switch on the key fob which I have rectified. I have now engineered a way of gaining access through the boot into the car via key blade should there ever be a re-occurrence of the above.
