Weston is a fine place to fetch up in, like most seaside towns it's got it's problems but generally everbody gets along fine. It also has two of the best Wetherspoons I have ever come across, so if you like real ale come and have some Exmoor Beast at 6.5%.

I love Weston. I can remember years ago when you could drive down on to the beach to park. It's just Burnham I'm not keen on.

I think Weston must be the spiritual homes of 75s there 5 or six within a few streets of me and Asda car park allways sports at least two when we go shopping. As a venue for a meet, the Beech Lawns would be ideal and allready host classic car shows.

Yeah I thought a good time to go. If we had left today it would have been duff weather + noisey kids (awake is enough!) and lots more traffic and a break required. As it was it was an absolute joy to drive the car on virtually m/t roads and cruise at just over the legal limit not worrying about the goon sitting up yer bum not looking where he's going or texting etc. No one went past us either until half way up the A303. Was brought back to SE reality though on the M3/M25 where very few people were doing less than 70mph whereas down the southwest very few were going over 70mph One reason we will end up down that way or South Wales eventually.
