Default dreaded cylinder head problems

can anyone tell me if a cylinder head off a rover 200 fitted with a k series engine will fit my 2004 rover 75 tourer, many thanks.

not sure if they did a 2litre but if they did then it should fit .. im sure one of the more technical guys will be able to tell you for sure soon ..

Welcome to the club! Another South Lincs member! That is at least ooooh 5 now!

All K series heads, from 1.4 to 1.6 to 1.8 are exactly the same...

thanks for the info zeb, would you kow if mine is the auto tensioning type head or does it not matter

No the 200 head isn't the same. The bare head is the same except the tensioner as the 200 will have manual tensioner where as yours will be Auto.

Also the 200 has distributor where as your 75 will be coilpacks.

does this mean that i cant use it then or is it a case of swapping bits from my old head
